  3. I have the exactly same problem! have you solved it? Sometimes I have problem rebooting because of bluetooth! I get strange error like: E:[AppleUSBBluetooth][will shut down][mac…] interrupts one transfer pending (smth like this). Hope you can help me. My bluetooth is CSR 0x0001 and 0x0a12. Strange but the CSRBluetooth kext won't load, instead the original Broadcom loads! Cheers!

  5. dsdt patching - USB bluetooth

    Hi Again! I did some dsdt patching (SBUS, LPC, USB) and now the only error I get is at reboot/shutdown: hidd died. Reestablishing connection. When rebooting, someties the dongle will stop my hack from it with smth like this: E:[AppleUSBBluetooth….](interrupt) recieved kIOReturnAborted with 1 pending Interrupts It seems that after reboot/restart is pressed the usb ports switch off before the communication with Keyboard is closed and so the data is not written to blued.plist…
  6. Hi! Have you found solution for your problem. I have similar problem with my BT dongle: Cambridge Silicon Radio Chip. My problem is that I have to pair my keyboard (Apple Wireless) everytime I boot. For some reason Bluetooth doesn't remember my BT devices. I patched my dsdt: usb devices, SMBus, LPC (still not runnung speedstep). All my other usb devices work without problems (mouse, usb sticks and even usb WLAN) Tried trashing Bluetooth prefs and blued.plist without any changes. My Specs: P5Q (modded bios by juzzi) -> running vanilla with only few kextst in Extra (AHCI.... EvoReboot and so on) Greetz
  7. dsdt patching - USB bluetooth

    Hi All! OS: 10.6.6 in 64 bit My Specs: Asus P5Q (modded bios from Juzzi) HD4870, E6600, all devices os SATA Problem: I recently bought a Bluetooth dongle (Cambridge Silicon Radio - for other people on hacks and real macs my dongle seems to work OOB) and it works only I can't log myself in (bluetooth deamon is running). After i logged myself with wired keyboard I have to pair my wireless KB again. After I did it everything works nicely and without any delays... only I can't log in and I have to pair it every time I start my hack! They showd up in system profiler as they should with AppleAHCIUSB kext.... All my storage and sticks were working but now for some reason I can't sync my Ipod... could be related... As you see at boot i get BTCOEXISTANCE off , which apparently is normal (something to do with EDR) and the bluetooth deamon starts before login window. All great even lights on my BT dongle go on and off but it can't find my keyboard! I read somewhere that I should patch my SMBIOS and LPC device... hope somebody had similar problem!
  8. thanks for your quick response! Yes I use modified 10.6.0 distro - SnowOSX 3.6. It will take some time for me to get a retail version. So at the moment I'm stuck with this one and iPortable. Anybody had luck with SnowOSX?
  9. Here are the specs: Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 CPU: i7 860 GfX: ATI 4870 (can swap for GT7300 if needed) HD: 1TB Seagate BIOS: IDE is switched off, GSATA too. SATA is set to AHCI mode. All serial ports are switched off. My DVD drive is SATA. Distro: SnowOSX 3.6 Intel only and iPortable Unfortunately I can't even post my kernel panics cause it is happening so quick I can't even reed the errors. I'm trying to install it from SnowOSX 3.6. System boots into EmpireEFI, Tony's mac86 boot CD without a problem. After swapping DVD's it seems to load every kext on the install DVD, which is normal. Then I get an msg: ACPI Table not found. Starting Darwin. Press any key to continue. After pressing 'any key' it loads few lines and says smth about ACPI and CPU haltend and switches off. I tried to add dsdt for the board I found on tonys forums (I assume it is only for the board do I have to change the CPU part too?? ) After applying DSDT for my board, the loading process doesn't stop at: CPI Table not found. Starting Darwin. It goes directly too CPU Haltend and reboots... I tried too boot with only one core, with different boot flags like: busratio=20, fsb=133 cpus=1 in various variations but it doesn't even loads to the gray apple screen! It just reboots. I hope this is a common problem and somebody might have a solution for me!!!
  10. Hi! My system works stable but CPU temps are a bit high (48 Celsius) with normal use. Speedstep (AppleIntelCPUpowermanagement) should help lower temps. I'm looking for a safe way to test the system with AppleIntelCPUpowermanagement.kext so in case of KP i can still load NullCPU kext to boot. Running Snow Leopard My specs: Asus P5Q (ICH10) , E6600, GT7300 Here is my dsdt: DefinitionBlock ("./dsdt.aml", "DSDT", 1, "A0993", "A0993001", 0x00000001) { Scope (_PR) { Processor (CPU0, 0x01, 0x00000810, 0x06) {} Processor (CPU1, 0x02, 0x00000810, 0x06) {} Processor (CPU2, 0x03, 0x00000000, 0x00) {} Processor (CPU3, 0x04, 0x00000000, 0x00) {} } Scope (_PR.CPU0) { Method (_PSS, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x02) { Package (0x06) { Zero, Zero, 0x0A, 0x0A, 0x091A, Zero }, Package (0x06) { Zero, Zero, 0x0A, 0x0A, 0x0714, One } }) } Method (_PSD, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x05) { 0x05, Zero, Zero, 0xFC, 0x04 }) } Method (_CST, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x02) { One, Package (0x04) { ResourceTemplate () { Register (FFixedHW, 0x01, // Bit Width 0x02, // Bit Offset 0x0000000000000000, // Address 0x01, // Access Size ) }, One, 0x9D, 0x03E8 } }) } } Scope (_PR.CPU1) { Method (_PSS, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (^^CPU0._PSS ()) } Method (_PSD, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (^^CPU0._PSD ()) } Method (_CST, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x04) { 0x03, Package (0x04) { ResourceTemplate () { Register (FFixedHW, 0x01, // Bit Width 0x02, // Bit Offset 0x0000000000000000, // Address ,) }, One, Zero, 0x03E8 }, Package (0x04) { ResourceTemplate () { Register (FFixedHW, 0x08, // Bit Width 0x00, // Bit Offset 0x0000000000000414, // Address ,) }, 0x02, One, 0x01F4 }, Package (0x04) { ResourceTemplate () { Register (FFixedHW, 0x08, // Bit Width 0x00, // Bit Offset 0x0000000000000415, // Address ,) }, 0x03, 0x55, 0xFA } }) } } Scope (_PR.CPU2) { Method (_PSS, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (^^CPU0._PSS ()) } Method (_PSD, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (^^CPU0._PSD ()) } Method (_CST, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (^^CPU1._CST ()) } }
  11. I had SL working. Installed from Leopard. Mounted the volume and did the terminal work. Before installing I did: chown 0:0 /Volumes/Snow as it said in the guide. After installation I can't install chameleon on the partition/hard drive which has GUID partition map. Don't know which step I missed?! Chameleon stops right at the beginning: writing core package or smth like that. Thanks for any help!
  12. ACL882(b) - ATI 2600 PRO

    alc882 kexts can be found here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1262008
  13. @yomus - On P5LD2 sata port are recognized corectly. Have you changed your sata to work natively in bios?
  14. @matemango Thanks a lot for your files! My sound works now, I reedited my dsdt file and added hdef before Device (MCH) and installed kexts from your pack. At the moment my mic is not working! Does your mic work? I will remove hdef from my dsdt to check if it is affecting the sound! I found this boot argument in your boot.plist arch=i386 what does it do? are you able to boot in 64 bits?
  15. I'm having trouble to get my audio working in SL. There is no good guide for making dsdt.aml file that will be universal for every motherboard. All the dsdt gudes are made on "example" that works only for this and only motherboard. It would be great for most of the users with older motherboards to know how to apply dsdt to their motherboards, as dsdt is the new "EFI". Here is my problem: ALC882 working after patching with Taruga Patcher. Here is what I've tried: Added this in dsdt.aml (dsdt was generated by dsdt patcher from koola) In dsdt.aml there was no AZAL or HDEF device so I added one just before Device (IDE0) and after Device (MC97) as I found this in a guide for Gigabyte motherboards. Here is the code: Device (HDEF) { Name (_ADR, 0x001B0000) Method (_PRW, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x02) { 0x0D, 0x05 }) } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x0A) { "built-in", Buffer (One) { 0x00 }, "codec-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x82, 0x08, 0xEC, 0x10 }, "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x27, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00 }, "device-type", Buffer (0x10) { "Realtek ALC882" }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (One) { 0x00 } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } Here is what I found about my card with IORegistryExplorer Hope to get some links and helpful responds:
