Hi guys. I just saw that www.newegg.com has the new intel core duos for sale for as little as $258. I also noticed that it requires a socket 478 and 667mhz front side bus. It's been a long time since I put together a PC and I was never all that good at it to begin with ( :( ) , so I'd like to ask you fine folks a couple of questions.

The mobo I have now has the right socket but under the documentation it says it will only support up to 533 FSB. Am I right in assuming that this will not cut it, and is there anything else I should take into consideration when shopping for a compatible mobo for the new core duo?

Thanks in advance for your help
