Detosx
I installed Kalyway's latest. It's great to have a working battery icon but the speedstep kernel causes USB not to be seen, even with the patch on the installer. Does anyone have a solution to this one. I use my laptop on battery and need speedstep. Thanks. This one is driving me craaaaaaaay-zee Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/98865-calling-all-laptop-users/ Share on other sites
Detosx
For those who chose 9.2.0 speedstep kernel and found that the USB fix in the installer still didn't give them USB2 on the desktop, so to speak, try this:- http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=95789&st=0 - it worked perfectly for me. Cudos to ipoz for the simple tutorial Next question. Which Speedstep package should I download/install to get Speedstep working? I had heard that speedstep doesn't work outside of 10.5.1.
