Guy’s,

This is driving me nuts and i have tried everything to fix this issue.

I have an Asus P5KPL-VM, Intel Q6600 quad proc, 4 gig ram, Asus ide dvd drive with an IDE HD drive on the same bus which is formatted ntfs and wating for leopard to be installed on it.

The dvd boots (iatkosv1.0 and iatkos1.0r2) to darwin and waits at the prompt.

I have tried these switches but it stops in the same place every time.

-x -v

-v -f -x

-v -f -s

-v cpus=1

The errors i get are

waiting for boot device with uuid 1234567(blah, blah)

then the next line is

ACPI_SMC_CtrlLoop;;initCPUCtrlLoop-pmCPUControl (PMIOCSETPSTATETABLE) returned 0×6354380

then hangs the PC.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

This problem is due to using ide dvd drive and using onboard graphics -----to fix this :-

1.Use SATA dvd DRIVE

2. install nvidia graphic card

3. set bios to load default setiings

i hope your OSX wil load :)
