Hi. As you can see from my specs, I have 2 sound cards which don't work, already. Well, today I went to a computer shop and I took the first cheap external (USB) sound card I could find: the Trust Soundforce SC-5500p External Surround 5.1 USB.

I was so happy that I could finally use my MAC OS completely... I came back home jumping like a kangaroo, I climbed my stairs like crazy, I plugged the Sound Card and... and... ???? NOOOOOOO!!!!! :withstupid: I don't see any line out devices and I cannot play anything at all!

I have tried to look for drivers online, but I haven't been able to find anything. I called the shop and they told me that if I want, I can go back and get a "bonus", because they don't have any other cheap USB sound cards! (they have none of those listed in the osx86project website). What do I do with their bonus???

Really hope that somebody here can help me..

Thanks so much, guys for reading this desperate message.

Buy the Turtle Beach AudioAdvantage Micro from TigerDirect $29.99 works fine I got one but my onboard sound works

I bought this one on eBay and it works perfectly: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=6845062799 The eBay store I bought it from keeps them in stock (check their other items). The sound on my motherboard was supported, but had a faulty chip so it had a lot of static in it, which is why I bought the USB adapter. It is actually the C-Media one that is listed in the HCL.
