Newbie question: OS X/Vista dual boot

Hi all,

Am building my own Hackintosh this evening; Q6600 2.4Ghz, 4Gb RAM, Gigabyte P35-DS3P.

I'm planning to put Vista and Kalyway 10.5.2 on their own HDDs.

Am just wondering if there's a preferred order of install that I should use? Ideally I'd like to use the Vista bootloader via EasyBCD - what order of install will allow me to do this? And should I use Guid or MBR for the Kalyway install/disc format?

Hope someone can help; I've pored through the forums looking for a clear solution but just ended up more confused than ever - which is worrying, considering that the box of bits is now beside me at my desk in work...

FYI amzter, I'm planning to use easyBCD. Judging from their instructions, I'm gonna install OS X first (MBR), then install Vista, then run easyBCD and set up the OS X entry in the Vista bootloader.

Will this work? I've no idea. But it seems to be the most straightforward method that I can find, so...

i did this one one hd and i installed vista then kalyway 10.5.1 then used Gparted live to flag the vista partition as bootable. then used the vista disk to repair the vista installation then used easybcd to finish. worked like a charm took me a while to figure it out as the guide i was using was 100%
