limac
Hi, I installed leo4all and considering my hardware it is running great!!! my specs are: Proc: Intel Celeron M 520 @ 1.6GHz (One core) Mobo: Toshiba mobo with intel 945GM chipset Graphics: Intel GMA 950 w/128 Mib (on board) RAM: 1.5 Gib so is there like any ways to boost up my Leopard performance? Like some of the times when switching spaces (let's say one space has iTunes and another has Safari running) the spaces switch...well not smoothly. but if there are like lightweight to no apps running at all then it switches just fine. And sometimes with I click on say Quicktime or iTunes from the Dock, the icon animates (the bounce thing) but again not smoothly but other times it is just fine. So is there any way to enhance my system performance? Thanks, limac Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/98048-any-way-to-boost-speed-and-performance/ Share on other sites

prazvt
maybe you can replace the stock hard disk with a 7200rpm disk. I did that w/ an old P4 toshiba laptop (4200rpm disk) I had and it sped things up immensely.
