starobrno1
I get this when I repair discpermissions Does it matter at all will my computer work like it should anyway? It seems to be working OK but if this is an easy fix and I´ll get even more power out of it if I fix it please tell me how I do it. I remember something about that you should clear kext caches or something after you have install the OS but I can´t find it. starobrno1
So does anybody know anything about this? I´m greatfull for any answer I get besides "do the search" standard reply.
gkjk
Hi there, the SUID comments are common on Mac's. I have an iMac and two Apple laptops that all have these remarks. There is a way to get the SUID file changed and it just requires changing some permissions via terminal. It has NO impact on the performance of your system. If you are interested in killing them, check out the Apple discussion board. http://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa or here is one from Apple on your exact SUID's: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306925 Look in the Leopard board and just put SUID into the search..... Cheers,
