ezeey
I've realised a Multi Boot Installation with Grub. - Ubuntu - Windows - Leopard The problem now ist, that ive removed the Timout in Darwin, so that it starts its default operating system. Right after i installed grub it bootet OSX Leopard but since yesterday it boots Windows XP and I dont know why. Is there a possibility to get back to Leopard and set it again as default OS? westwaerts
you must edit com.apple.boot.plist just add: <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> and you got 5 seconds for boot options back
ezeey
Allright thanks. I edited com.apple.boot.plist from Windows, but the other problem still exists: Darwin starts Windows as default. So if I want to boot Leoaprd I always have to select it in Darwin Boot options.

macgirl
That is because your active partition is Windows. Darwin ever select the active partition as default, and there is no options to select another one by default. Best way is to let Darwin Boot as primary bootloader since the other bootloader can have config files to select which partition to boot. The only scenario where Darwin could select the Mac Partition as default is when you are booting from other disk and chainload Darwin, with the Mac Partition as the only one or the Active one.
