I am building a pc for osx/gaming, the hardware compability list says they are all good but just wanted to make sure:

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R

GRAPHICS: 8800GT 512MB

PROCESSOR: intel c2d E6750

I will also be getting some fans, 2gb of ram, and a 630W psu. I already have a compatible dvd drive, 2 hdd's and a case

any comments/advice

BTW is building a computer as simple as upgrading a graphics card or ram, just more parts?

i'd get a badaxe2 and a q6600

I'd get a BADAXE2 2 years ago... no offense, its a great board, but OLD

Going with a P35 based chipset Asus or Gigabyte is a good idea. I would like to get a X38 based chipset, but am not sure which one to recommend. I love my rig, it runs perfectly.

I did not like the 8800GT, its buggy and I exchanged mine for the ATI 3870 which runs flawlessly thanks the netkas natit

Check my sig for my suggestions
