reichard
Can't mount SMB shares in Finder but works fine from terminal using mount_smbfs. I have SMB shares on a Ubuntu PC, XP, and Server 2003, and Finder wont work with any. But again, from Terminal, it works fine. Finder just shows "connect as..." or connect failed. The "connect as.." button when clicked does nothing. In system-preferences, i've added my workgroup name, turned off ipv6 configuration, changed my Sharing settings, and still Finder wont work. Any ideas? This is with leo4all 10.5.2, on an Intel D31 mobo. pauℓzurrr.
Try this "I am unable to connect to shared computers on my network I think I found the problem. It was an alias missing a "/" in the front. You can get the fix HERE!" http://rapidshare.com/files/102548542/ShareFix.zip.html Source: http://osx86leo4all.wikidot.com/known-issues#toc9 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97599-cant-mount-smb-shares-in-finder/#findComment-697112 Share on other sites
Software Updater
Thanks so much, it worked but I was wondering if you knew where the terminal command fix was.
