Now I´ve got almost everything working perfectly on my hackintosh laptop...

The only major problem I´ve got left is that the machine gets extremely warm. It has even just suddenly turned itself off a couple of times, when it had gotten very warm.

I´m afraid that I might end up destroying it...

I do not have this problem at all when I´m using Vista on the same machine.

I´ve noticed that using any USB device seems to also increase the temperature rapidly.

I´ve tried a couple of solutions, but I don´t see any difference. The fan is working but it seems to me to be on low speed.

How do I even know if the powermanagement is working as it is supposed to?

:D

Alright... not much response here... :D

I have now removed the AppleThermal.kext, and that has improved the Fan-speed.

But my machine still gets too warm... when I run heavy programs using maximum CPU power, the laptop sometimes just suddenly shuts down.

Also I´ve not managed to find any program that allows me to measure the temperature that is compatible with this machine, with AMD Turion 64 x2 processors...

Anyone here have any tips for me?
