So, my install went flawlessly. Used the GUID method.

Specs are

Core 2 Duo E6300

Evga 680i Motherboard

4Gb Ocz Ram

Evga 8800GT 512

80Gb IDE HDD

IDE Dvd-R

Booted up the first time using the -x. Looked good.

Got to the welcome screen, selected keyboard and then at the part where it wants you to import a profile or whatever

I select none (cause I don't have one) and then it just loads for 5 min, and loops right back to the welcome

screen.......... AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Do I need to use a USB keyboard and mouse ?

Both a Ps2 keyboard and mouse ?

I can't think of why it would be looping.

I read somewhere to unplug your network card, but I don't know if that would help.

Any suggestions would very much be appreciated !! Thank you !!

(Yes I'm using Kalway, only using one core disabled the other in the bios)

I feel like I'm so close.. just one more step and I could maybe boot into the OS !!!

AHhh 3 days of reading, my brain feels like it's going to explode..lol

I was a complete Hackintosh noob before this..

The same exact thing happened to me. Except disabling the network card didn't you can try doing this.

Boot into -s

then type in these commands

/sbin/mount -uw /

password root (type in a password)

touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

That is what someone suggested to me but it didn't work in my case. It might for you.

What I did was reinstall leo and it worked well.

Heyy.. So I've been browsing this section of the forums and I see quite a few other people have

been experiencing this exact same issue.

There is however no clear solution from what I can tell, everyone has a different suggestion; which is great, I just don't know where to start.

I don't really want to re-install Leo again, but I guess if it comes down to it oh well.

I just think there's gotta be a solution, if anyone has run into this problem, what worked for you ??
