masonk
well, I downloaded KALYWAY_LEO_10.5.1intel_SSE2_SSE3 burnt it and stuck it in the Dell. In the BIOS I changed the DVD-rom drive to have a higher precedence in the boot order than the internal HDD, restarted, and was presented with the Kalyway install screen. (Press any key to boot or F8 for more options). Press any key and it goes to "Loading Darwin/x86..." I can hear it loading a lot of stuff from the DVD-rom drive, then black screen, and the computer is booting up again to repeat the process. It never actually loads into OS X. Whats up with that, can someone point me to the reason, if one exists?

bugler30
alot of people have this problem... myself included, seems to be common thread is it happens on a sse2 system. However no one has an answer or even any ideas on this one.
