Captain Scarlet
Hi I have recently downloaded Leo4allv2 and burnt the image to a DVD using Nero. Unfortunately when I try to boot from it I simply get the message that the DVD contains no boot record and cannot be used to start the PC. I fired up windows and mounted the downloaded image using deamon tools. I was then able to browse the DVD using Explorer and it contained the following files: Boot Boot0 Boot1h Boot1i CDBoot Chain0 Boot.cat Boothelp.txt Am I missing something in the burning process? I have read that the burning speed should be kept low and I recall that Nero only burnt at 1200, which should be ok? Any help would be greatly appreciated. eddie11c
Ok two things. Did you check the MD5 checksum of the ISO to make sure it is not corrupted? Download UltraISO and burn at <4x. With UltraISO you can switch and see the HFS+ partition also, where in Windows and Nero you will only see those few files.
Captain Scarlet
Thanks for the response. As usual it's always the simple things...doh. Ran the checksum and of course it didn't match. Now downloading again..... Thanks again for the tip. CS
zonker
Where are you downloading from? I see a lot of posts about it but don't know where to find it to try it out.
