bptba93 Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 I got Tiger 10.4.1 working ok...the only i couldn't get to work is my sound (duh) and my wireless another duh and QE and CG. Other than that it worked really well but i decided to end os x x86 because i couldn't get the sound or wireless to work at all but if anyone could help me i might try installing again...i installed SuSe 10 over it by the way. Mac OSX Coder Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 Congrats! Yup sound, wireless, ethernet (sometimes), QE and CL (sometimes) usually don't work. What is the type of wireless? Is it the built in one? same on your sound card. bptba93 Posted February 22, 2006 Author Share Posted February 22, 2006 um the wirless is an Atheros AR5005g minipci and the sound is a sigmaltel c-major ( what it shows in windoze) the codec is STAC9750TG Codec Chip right now i'm downloading the os x x86 10.4.3 patched generic install dvd so maybe the sound will work it's ok if the wireless don't work because i've got a wireless gaming thing that i can plug in and get internet off it. if you want specs of my toshiba go to http://www.clearanceclub.com/depot/quelle_...om.cgi?sku=4996 i know the sound is built in but i can get to the wireless i didn't look close enough to see if it could be removed though.
