iWANEX
I'm desperate!!! I installed iATKOS and everything seems to work great except for my internet connection. I just can't connect the PC to the net and is driving me crazy. Is there a fix somewhere for this? My PC is a HP Pavilion dv2000 1.6GHz Core 2 Memory 1GB Network options: - FireWire = Not Connected - Airport = Off (the message Airport not installed can be seen at the menu bar) - Ethernet = Unplugged None of them work and all the changes I try end up failing. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/96375-wireless-not-working-airport-not-installed/ Share on other sites

Iman07
when u installed the OS, did u select the wireless patch? they have a patch that will connect to a lot of cards out there. do u know what i am talking about? if you pop in the iATKOS disc, and enable hidden folders, you can go in there and install the patch manually. also there is another trick. open safari, then its gonna say unable to connect. then hit the button in the middle. it says network preferences or something. go through the menu. make sure it you check "TURN AIRPORT ON" i thought mine wasnt install properly, but i found out that i have to enable it everytime i restart the hackintosh. after you enable it, you should be able to connect to your network. hope this helps! get back to us.
