Yo i installed all sorts of nvidia drivers for my graphics NVInstallerV.41 all sorts i even installed a 1gb nvinject.kext but when i boot in verbose mode i get a VRAM Total :<Data not shown> all the time so please i really want my geforce 8500 GT 1gb Working !!

This is another option. Don't kill me if it breaks your install :o . But risks have to be taken :( backup your things before you attempt this.

 

You're going to have to install a kext called NVidiaEFI.

Assuming you have already updated to 10.5.2, after the grey apple logo, your screen will go black. This is normal, just wait for 2-5 minutes and the desktop will come.

 

After you have successfully booted install the following kernel package.

Version 1.0.2 is on there and it has support for cards 512mb and up, so it would be worth while to try this first if you havn't already tried the one I posted previously.
