Smiler Posted March 29, 2008 Share Posted March 29, 2008 Hi i am new to the forums i am just hoping for help installing mac osx leopard virtually on virtual pc 07 (virtual pc running on vista HP x64 build 6001) i have got a virtual copy of XP running on virtual pc 07 and now i am hoping to do the same, but with mac OSx i will tell you the description of how far i have got just after i have informed you of my hardware setup AMD Phenom 9600 Black Edition (clocked at 2.4GHz) ATI RADEON HD 3870 512mb 4GB of DDR2 800MHz Gigabyte ga-ma770-ds3 (AM2+ 770 Chipset) anymore details required please ask now as for how far i have got installing OSx (note: i am going to type everything i see on screen(on the VPC that is lol)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132204 8mb memory VESA v2.0 4MB (IBM SVGA BIOS, © 1993 International Business Machines) Loading Darwin/x86 EFI enhanced bootloader build: ToH Using SMBIOS table found at 0x000f55c0 Using ACPI RSDP revision 0 found at 0x000f52c0 Hey we are going backwards! -> , restarting timing Hey we are going backwards! -> , restarting timing calibration failed with 2 attempts ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any help would be appreciated. Donk Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 I got the same thing under VMware server 1.0.4 build-56528. You will need either VMware Server 2.0, Workstation 6.5 or Fusion 2.0. Then check out some of the other forum posts on what you need to do to correctly set it up.
