scrupul0us Posted March 29, 2008 Share Posted March 29, 2008 So far I've been unable to install and/or boot: iatkos1.0 (10.5.1) [installs completely, black screen @ boot w/out disk, and reboot screen w/disk] iatkos1.0r2 (10.5.1) [installs completely, black screen @ boot w/out disk, and reboot screen w/disk] leo4all (10.5.2) [spits out a few kexts.. a quick blurb about SMBIOS and ACPI then reboots] kalyways (10.5.1) [spits out all of kexts when the cd boots then the computer reboots] i've tried so many things that I'm wondering where togo from here? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tiger might work, again with only vesa graphics, which would be lousy, waste of time. You could fit a cheapo/oldish geforce graphics card and try again but the older the technology, the more the 'time is money' equation comes into play. The whole ethos with Apple is soothing ease of use. There are worse hobbies, however! You will find what I think Apple have found - that a lot of Hackintosh owners also end up buying entry level Macs and attracting others to the Apple platform.
