Hi,

I have a disk with two partitions, the first one has xp installed and i´m planning to install ubuntu in the second. I would like to know if i can install grub in the second partition and if so how to boot linux from windows loader.

The main reason for this is the use of bootcamp from vmware in osx.

thanks

Yes you can install linux and Grub on 2nd partition with no negitive issues.

It should work on first boot with your Linux OS and other OS options already setup in your Menu.lst under /Boot/Grub/

At least that is the way it works with Ubuntu 7.1.0

Good Luck

Kenny

BTW, If you were to run OS X without boot camp, and VMWare, you can set Grub's meny for that also.
