Bing Lax Posted March 28, 2008 Share Posted March 28, 2008 Ok I live on a steel hull boat with a Macbook Pro... there is Wifi to connect to but not when im below deck due to the steel hull. so i need one of three things, a repeater, a good USB dongle, or a ethernet cable to wireless box (like a game adaptor) so that i can connect it as ethernet and then distribute the wireless through the boat(not 100% needed) What are my options for hardware? the router is a D-Link DI-524 so it doesnt have WDS thus cant use the airport express as a repeater. I also dont have access to the router for settings or anything so that might be another issue. It's a local free juice bar Wifi.... so its legal...
