hockeyman96 Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 Installed 10.5.2, USB, Firewire worked, ethernet didn't. Tried adding Belkin 4-port card and Adaptec scsi card, system came to a crawl. Tried restarting, takes 10-15 mins to boot. Updated BIOS 2602, re-installed 10.5.1 and 10.5.2 update twice, now both ethernet ports work, but system now doesn't recognize firewire ports. If I disable onboard firewire in BIOS, system flies. If I enable onboard firewire, startup hangs for 10-15 mins and still doesn't recognize firewire in system profiler.
