Headrush69
Anyone know why does EFI show up as a partition on my hdd? I though it went into the MBR? That's normal. (Even though its empty and not used by Apple) GUID and MBR are both partitioning schemes. GUID contains a copy of a MBR within it to avoid issues from partition editing apps that don't understand GUID. Tin_man_0
If that's the case then why do I create a patition in the disk utility as type mbr instead of guid? PC EFI can work with MBR or GUID. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95771-efi-shows-up-as-a-partition/#findComment-688676 Share on other sites
