DD_nVidia
Ok so, specs first per usual ASUS P5B-E (Intel P965 ICH-8 Chipset) Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 2.4GHz [was @ 3.2GHz, clocked it down to be safe in OS X] 2Gb OCZ-Platinum DDR2-800 CL4.0 NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS 640MB [Oldschool G8X, none of this G92 stuff =D] IF ANYONE can help with the audio and ethernet problem I am having, please add me on AIM - dd_nvidia@mac.com or msn DD_nVidia@hotmail.co.uk or post on this. I posted this morning about OS X 10.5.2 install not loading from my PATA DVD drive, I tried once to get around this by installing it on the other computer upstairs, (with worked...with a PATA DVD Drive :S) then taking the drive downstairs. This time, I didn't use the Vanilla kernel, and the only patch I applied was the GeForce kext patch, and not the NVijection 640Mb thingy. Well, it works =D No Audio, No Video Drivers, No QE, No CI, and most disturbingly, NO ETHERNET!!!!!! But, there is hope! I already stuck the Nvidia driver thing v4.1 on a usb stick before hand, so popped that in, ran the .pkg, installed restarted, what do ya know! Fully Hardware Accelerated, QE and CI Enabled :( So, that leaves the Audio and Ethernet. I'll grab a USB to Ethernet adapter tomorrow on the way home from school, heard that a simple kext will enable use if them Help to get the Ethernet working properly would be great though. Then I'll do some hunting for audio drivers / patches. I get 0 audio at all, and it doesn't even detect a sound device :/ Help is much appreciated =D Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95548-leo4all-1052-working-although-a-very-different-method-used/ Share on other sites
