CrazyPigeon
I did the boot file edit to allow 1600x1200x32 resolution, but everytime it boots it falls back to 1280x1024x32, I know that my card can support 1600x1200x32 because thats what I use in windows. Is there anyway for me to make it so that I can get 1600x1200x32? Mac OSX Coder
are you editting the com.boot.plist? Also try a different resolution, such as "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9546-1600x1200-on-geforce-7300gs/#findComment-59480 Share on other sites
munky
I used to run osx on a 6800NU, and could never get 1600x1200 to work. However, I did get 2048x1536 to work, so give that a try (if your monitor and eyes can handle it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9546-1600x1200-on-geforce-7300gs/#findComment-59688 Share on other sites
CrazyPigeon
I edited the com.boot.plist or whatever and added 1600x1200x32, it just clips it down for some reason. My monitor can't handle that resolution, if it could I would have soo done that. Stupid Generic Drivers....
