Hey Guys!

I've got OSX 10.5.1 on my lappy, and was happy to see that I could record clips and stick the Mini DVDR in and have iMovie find it and import without me even finalizing the disk! However, I don't really want to dedicate all of the time to tweaking OSX86 - I just don't have the time in my current situation. So I'm thinking about getting a MacBook.

However... not all slot load DVD drives can take Mini-DVDs... can MacBooks? I'm thinking of getting a 2.16 GHz Refurb one directly from Apple. It would be dumb if I couldn't read the Mini DVDs... probably a deal breaker.

I found a PS3 could read them. That was to my suprise! I read that the Wii was the first drive able to do this. Is that true?

Thaaaanks! You guys rock!

OK... I checked into it and it appears it doesn't. That's pretty poor considering the Wii and PS3 can do it... wtf?

Anyways... is there a converter I can buy?

I guess that means most likely iMac Macbook Pro and Mac Mini dont work either
