westwaerts
that means you have not the right kexts installed. AppleAcpiPlatform.kext is either mismatching, or it mismatches with iopcifamily.kext. or permissions are not set right, just put kexts into Extensionsfolder DOES NOT WORK; NEVER kexts can only be installed with kexthelper or some terminal commands ( chmod, chown, rebuild kextcache, tec.) same problem heretrying to install a retail leopard with boot-132 (generic) and I get the ACPi error asus P5Q-E i have tried to turnf off all ACPI stuff in the bios with no success any help would be appreciated (i m going to buya real mac ^^ ) there is a p5q thread here in this forum, why not ask there ? and turn off is completely wrong ( you need acpi tables enabled and apic too) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/94914-unable-to-find-driver-for-this-platform-acpi/#findComment-1046793 Share on other sites
