This hack helped me...Or, if you want to work with ahci, then you need to reinstall windows ) No, you CAN install the AHCI drivers for XP without re-installing. CHECK out this GUIDE It works fine, I have a double-boot with XP on the same disk as 10.5.1 and all is wunderbar. I prefer using AHCI in Leo because of hot-swap and things seem to work snappier. good luck, ninetto Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/94706-error-on-enabling-ahci/#findComment-675157 Share on other sites

nkear5
http://www.msfn.org/board/enable-AHCI-Inte...XP-t109450.html Try this, it's for ICH9 but it uses the same principles I think. But before you do that, search this thread for information. They seem to have the same motherboard setup. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...rt=#entry203733 And.. Have you changed legacy IDE mode to native? Because that might help.
