I noticed that some people fixed their problems with the wireless cards, I was wondering if I could get some help too.

My laptop is an HP ZD8230us Media Center - Broadcom 54g

Thanks for the help

That one does work, I can confirm it. There are so many references to it in the forum I'm not even going to start trying on this one - please use the search option!

Edit - sorry, I see this is your first visit here. Maybe someone can offer you more help, but the info is out there if you can't wait.

Hi,

I did a search for ZD8000 (the series my laptop is from) and found this topic: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...=2626&hl=zd8000 "Im running OSX86 on my HP Pavilion zd8124ea (zd8000 series) Everything is working, even the onboard Wireless I got working with the hacked Airport Kext (Broadcom based) the only thing that isnt working 100% is the Video which is not acclerated, when you first play a sound it makes a crackling sound but that goes away. Next thing is getting the Video working to it's full potential *waits for Video drivers to be released*"

However, I did not find that airport2.kext file that is mentioned by him... Maybe someone can help me out on that one? That's why I started the thread, cause I did not find it
