aitikin Posted March 19, 2008 Share Posted March 19, 2008 Alright, I've been searching all over the place trying to figure out how to get my Rosetta working. Every time I open anything in Rosetta, it crashes immediately and I don't know how to fix it. I tried using untouched translate, but it didn't work. LioNEXT Posted March 19, 2008 Share Posted March 19, 2008 okay, i had the same problem of rosetta applications failings to run when i started hackintosh project. Not sure if this was exactly related to the type of install you used, but for me, it did not work with Brazilmac method. When I used iATKOS v1.0 install, rosetta applications has been working ever since and very stably without any problem at all. I can not pinpoint exactly where the problem might be, but hope this suggestion can help you. Also, I have virtualization enabled in BIOS (don't know if this rosetta emulation depends upon this virtualization feature) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The translate file can be found here (though you said you tried untouched translate) http://hosted.filefront.com/iSynic (If that file's not allowed just edit the post, I think it *should* be fine) If you replace your translate file with that and restart PPC apps should work fine.
