When I am downloading something from Speed Download or Opera it takes like 2 minutes ant Leopard crashes. Only way I can download without problem is with integrated safari downloader. It is an annoying problem. My Spec. Chief9999 Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Hey I'm having random crashes too actually kernel panics I am thinking it's either ram or a lan problem was going to try a thirdparty lan card tonight and then if it still crashed go out and buy some ram this weekend getting frustrating. mcsmart Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 The problem is your LAN card. You are probably using the forcedeth driver, wich is still very experimental and buggy. I also have a NForce onboard lan card and I just added a new NIC (check my signature) to get rid of these random crashes. My suggestion: Get a new card which is fully supported by OS X.
