Druid
Hi, I'm on 10.4.1 still, and when I woke up today the software update had came up all byitself overnight, it had listed a Itunes update and a update to 10.4.5, kinda wierd..I never expected that to actually work on findin updates since this version is so old. And I never had 10.4.4 listed, I wonder if Apple is pushin the 10.4.5 update to try and get some of these hacked versions shut down. I know updates on any OS are common and it isnt nothin out of the ordinary to need to update, but you know they have to be a bit ticked off that 10.4.4 is already hacked. Careless
PS Can software make ur computer blow up, by causing the CPU to short circuit or something. using old windows backdoors and trojans, you could soft-clock the CPU and voltage to a number that would fry the CPU that the virii was running on. ahhhhh good times in highschool. RyuNarushima
1st thing: to do the update to 10.4.5 u need a 10.4.3 installation from where u can make this update (10.4.3 ->10.4.4 = 10.4.5) like u used to install maybe the 10.4.4 from a 10.4.3 installation.. and if u do a reg. softwareupdate with your patched sys u will blow it up! 2nd thing: the 10.4.5 kernel still is not useable for gen. pc. but will be soon. so u can wait or do the installation from a 10.4.3 system. 3rd thing: hi guys =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9382-1045-software-update/#findComment-61597 Share on other sites
