GreatWalrus
I've installed Leopard on an external USB Hard drive. Now I can't see my internal hard drive anywhere on leopard - including my computer, disk utility and terminal "diskutil list" Does anyone know how I can find/mount it? Thank you! Oh, and I would like to add that the internal drive is fully bootable with both linux ubuntu and vista on it... which makes even less sense. Could it be because it is external? Gujal
Leopard by default only sees AHCI Sata Drives. If you are having SATA drives, then you have to change it to AHCI in BIOS
GreatWalrus
that's most likely an option in bios? I'm not sure if I've seen that before, but I could take a thorough look.Or could it be like physically editing the bios or something?Scratch that, I do not have the ahci option in bios. :\
Gujal
In that case you may need a patched AppleVIAATA.kext or IOATAFamily.kext, both of which are available in the forums
