Sigh,

OSX Leopard = Not For Gaming, I'm so fed up lately with this, you know that myth "Mac is perfect", its far from true, I had so many issues, anyway I just installed Colin Mcrae on my OSX Leopard 10.5.2. I get an error and it says "Relaunch", or "Report", I am using OSX86 everything works perfectly, other games do aswell, but this is giving errors. I'm also having trouble with Quake & Mods but thats another story!!

Has anyone had the same problem?? It is very frustrating I know people talk {censored} about Windows, but Im tellin you It's the same thing, OSX may not crash but it does hang and on top of that running games with mods or just plain trying to run games at all is difficult! The other myth is = Parallels/VmWare these programs DO NOT run games properly, they only run that skateboarding game they show u rofl, I've tried Vice City/Halo/Quake 3, the only one that runs decently with Parallals/Vm Ware is Quake 3!! that things old.

Anyway I apologize for my complaining lol, but just had to get it off my chest.

Real Question is : Why is Colin Mcrae Crashing?

I have 4GB Memory, 3.2GHZ Core 2 Duo Processor, 500GB HD, 7600GT..

How can you know the true fully working joy, without crashes too, unless you own a real Apple Certified Mac...

Think Mark

well only that game crashes, I haven't had any other issues at all, I have had the opportunity to use a iMac at futureshop, I find mines to perform much faster at a fraction of the cost.. As for Quake that issue has been around for other Mac owners aswell so I doubt it would make much of a difference but just as a i see it. As for Parallels/VmWare thats always been an issue with all Macs because it doesn't support shaders and the DX support is experimental so logically it's supposed to perform a little laggy, then again some games like CSS or Quake 3 work perfectly using parallels/Vmware.. I would buy an iMac but I spent under $800 on my system and you can see the specs below, the cheapest Apple is $599 with much lower specs, even the higher end doesn't offer enough performance for price in comparison to a pc... Anyway just my thoughts, I do like Apple products just that I find them too pricey, and i mean there are other things like not being able to overclock/mess around with bios/upgrade certain hardware. And even if you decide to upgrade, mac memory its expensive! Currently memory for a pc system is $16.99 DDR-II 667 1GB , so you could imagine how much you save :D.

All in all I love OSX Leopard, its amazing :D, All Mac games work perfectly at 100% high but this specific game seems to be crashing.

Anyway if anyone has a fix that would be great! I can't find anyone else with this issue.
