I finally got my Iatkos hackintosh up and running. OSx loads fine and the wifi works.

However, after about 5 minutes, without fail, my computer just shuts down completely.

Here's my hardware:

Asus p5k-e wifi-ap MB

Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4ghz CPU

ATI X1950 GT 512MB VGA

G-Skill 4ghz DDR2 1066 Ram

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Is there any other hardware plugged in? I'm assuming that you've run windows or linux without a problem so it shouldn't be one of your core componenets causing the problem. Are you overclocking or doing anything else with your BIOS?

This is an OSX only computer.

However, I think I figured it out. I think it was overheating for some reason. I opened the case and fired it back up and its working fine now.

Hopefully it will stay that way and I'll be able to figure out a cooling solution. Its weird because I'm not overclocking or anything.
