I first want you all to know I'm still working w/ 10.4.1

Now with that out of the way...

Hello, I'm new to the OSx86 scene... when I was reading up on it I was reading that OSx86 is looking for some hardware chip that was originally on the Dev machines... something that started with a T if i remember correctly. And I read a tutorial on how to delete the file that contually looks for that chip, in turn slowing down the OS X computing experience.

But now I can't find the tutorial on how to get rid of that again. Could anybody help?

You're thinking of TPM. And there are Maxxuss patches for that. For a more stable, efficient, and all around better supported system, I suggest trying to install 10.4.3 with the Jas v4.2b patch. You can find everything you need through the normal avenues - can't post links here :) If you want to stay with 10.4.1, try searching the forum here for "TPM and 10.4.1". Otherwise, we'll need to know details, to help you more. (how did you install- native? deadmoo? system specs... what patches do you have now? etc.) :dev:
