corneliousjd
I first want you all to know I'm still working w/ 10.4.1 Now with that out of the way... Hello, I'm new to the OSx86 scene... when I was reading up on it I was reading that OSx86 is looking for some hardware chip that was originally on the Dev machines... something that started with a T if i remember correctly. And I read a tutorial on how to delete the file that contually looks for that chip, in turn slowing down the OS X computing experience. But now I can't find the tutorial on how to get rid of that again. Could anybody help? jbjonas
You're thinking of TPM. And there are Maxxuss patches for that. For a more stable, efficient, and all around better supported system, I suggest trying to install 10.4.3 with the Jas v4.2b patch. You can find everything you need through the normal avenues - can't post links here If you want to stay with 10.4.1, try searching the forum here for "TPM and 10.4.1". Otherwise, we'll need to know details, to help you more. (how did you install- native? deadmoo? system specs... what patches do you have now? etc.) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9353-osx86-looking-for-hardware-that-isnt-there/#findComment-58361 Share on other sites
