sawyerz
I have a powermac g5 with a dead video card. Apple care wanted $300+ for a ati radeon 9800xt (agp). I check ebay and the same card is going for 50 bucks. Would I be able to use just any agp card or does it have to be a specific one made for apple? terrancew_hod
To use a PC card with the mac, you'll have to flash it. You can google articles on flashing video cards for the mac, but you'll need access to a PC to do it. You can also check out this page for some cards on clearance, but it will set you back around $187. http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/bargains/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93337-are-any-video-cards-compatible-with-macs/#findComment-665579 Share on other sites
gabe_
I think this may be the wrong forum... Shouldn't this be in the "Apple Computers and Hardware forum?"
