Patrick Vick
You could also just stick the HDD in a USB enclosure and install to it, then when your done and everything is loaded put it back in your machine! SticMAN Wait just a sec! I have an external USB drive... 500Gig in fact. Can OSX boot off of it, or can I make a bootable CD/DVD to boot OSX installed on this USB drive? Patrick Vick
Disable "Native SATA Support" or a similar setting in your BIOS.I had to do it with my Compaqintosh to get it running as well, and now I've got the Leopard purring (although it's kinda hot).I wonder if that would equate to enabiling eSATA support?Wait just a sec!
