Hi everyone! Full-time, 10+ year Mac veteran here, but this is my first crack at jamming OS X onto an x86 PC...

Oy. 13 hours of my time, gone. Alright, so 6 of that was waiting for deadmoo to download... anyway! Got the deadmoo image running natively on my Fujitsu P7120 subnotebook! Didn't need Max's anti-TPS or SSE3 emulator/check-defeater (yet).

(info: http://www.computers.us.fujitsu.com/www/pr...7120_p7120d_ts)

It runs fine so far!

The good:

- Sound seems to work, haven't tried anything other than the Finder's UI sounds though

- I've got two batteries (10+ hrs runtime!) and the battery display properly shows both of them - at least when plugged into the wall (haven't unplugged it yet)

- Didn't need to do any display hacking yet (but I will - it's a stretched 1024x768 right now)

The bad:

- Slight graphical glitches for some of the eye candy (as expected)

- Booting in verbose shows that it doesn't like the Intel Pro 2915ABG card - switching it off fixes that. (haven't searched for a fix for this yet)

- Ran though almost a full pack of smokes while doing this whole thing (cough cough)

Lordy, so tired, it's 5:48am EST right now and I think I'm going to pull an all-nighter to get 10.4.4 on this puppy.

I'm such a sad sap... =)

Hey, im thinking of getting one of these to satisfy an urge to own a very sexy laptop that i might not really need to replace my current two (tecra 9100 and a sony v1vn picturebook). Any updates on your story? Have you tried 10.4.7? I'd definately drop the $2800au for one if it runs that...

mmmm.... technolust....
