TrYp MyNe
Hi all, i have a fully working hackintosh, but one problem::: THE BOOT it is slower than Christmas shopping, it takes ages. 8 minutes on average. it loads the apple logo, taking about 2 minutes there for that to pass. then a long black screen. the monitor is active, but nothing is on the display. i have tried a 9.2.0 speedstep kernel and 9.2.0 sleep kernel. both have slow boot. and i am forced to use speedstep because it is the only one that doesn't make my cpu run really hot. so what can i do??? specs are below Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/92845-real-slow-leopard-boot/ Share on other sites
ludacrisvp
i would boot with -v and let us take a look and see if there is an obvious issue with your startup. jed717ph
Try using a lower version of a kernel. (e.g. 9.1.0 or 9.0.0).. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/92845-real-slow-leopard-boot/#findComment-663825 Share on other sites
