CompCrasher86 Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 Everybody please help me out with getting my graphics card working under JaS 10.4.8 I have an ATI Radeon X700 AGP card. Katana gave me smooth graphics and recognized the card, but no QE or CI. Whenever I change the resolution I got a blue screen saying I need to reboot. (Stuck at 1024x768) Koverg's Patch Said I had QE, CI, and everything, but graphics were choppy and no resolution change. I am re-installing OSX fresh and I would like a good solution for my Graphics card. Please help! CompCrasher86 Posted March 18, 2008 Author Share Posted March 18, 2008 Whenever I do that I get verrrrry weird results. After spinning apple screen, the bottom half of the screen stays frozen on the white boot screen. The top half of the screen is split into six tiny rectangular screens with big horizontal lines going through them. I have restored the old boot file so I am back at square one. Mine is an AGP card for a desktop with 256mb g-ram. I bet the two are extremely similar however, we will probly end up using the same kext if a fix comes out.
