verendus Posted March 9, 2008 Share Posted March 9, 2008 I am beginning to experience kernel panic with my IDE (PATA) NEC DVD drive. Whenever I put a DVD or CD, it will panic, then, after restart it works. But, it won't eject no matter what. I have a feeling it has to do with one of the kexts. Can anyone share which SATA DVD writers work out of the box? I don't mind purchasing one, but want to make sure it works without any issue. Thanks in advance.
