labria Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 I've got a Logitech Internet Pro keyboard, the one with some extra buttons. 3 of the extra ones work, the ones that control the volume. The other ones do not. I tried installing the logitech control center, but it seems it still isnt universal, so the applet in the control doesn't start, saying I should update. jbjonas Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 wow, I've got a similar Logitech keyboard. I never realized that the 3 volume controls actually worked. cool. I personally never even use those buttons in XP, I find them annoying. I went to sys preferences > keyboard & mouse > keyboard shortcuts > + symbol and tried to add a shortcut from one of my other 4 keys, but they didn't even show up as a symbol combination. No luck there though you could try to see if it's any different for you. labria Posted February 16, 2006 Author Share Posted February 16, 2006 I never used the volume buttons, but i used the play and "Favourites" buttons to control iTunes (I managed the Favs button to be "next") And I really am used to getting my mail by pressing the mail button...
