skater Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 do you hafe an AF or HFS partition somewhere ? Select a "volume" eg : a partition . Try to erase it using Disk Utility . That will format it in HFS+ , default format . Go back to installation panel , you will see the partition and the green arrow . It makes an assumption you have free space on a partition that either already has some non-OSX partition you wish to make into OSX or free space you wish to create an OSX partition on. There's several solutions to splitting an existing Windows partition into 2 pieces, commercial and not - that's an exercize left to the reader in this case. Ya gotta at least know how that's done as what follows is gonna be more technically challenging!
