evadw Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 Hi, I'll post my hardware to begin with: ASRock 4Core1333-FullHD Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 I've tried to install Kalyway 10.5.2. It doesn't get to the point of asking me to do anything; I get the funky font and a fair bit of scrolling text, so it's at least trying to run something off the disc, which is further than I've ever gotten before. I'm a complete noob when it comes to this, so if anyone uses any fancy terminology, a link to a definition/guide would be much appreciated. Am I even using the right disc? I'm completely clueless and haven't been able to find any guides specific to my motherboard anywhere. As far as I know, there may be some universal disc that works perfectly by now.
