On the Jas 10.4.8 install the install went fine and it boots from the Hard drive ok until it tries to load the login window... Then the screen goes blank and there is nothing i can do... I looked at the kernel loading and there was somthing like Vid: family specific matching faildIm not sure if this is to do with it but the Vid part suggested to me it had somthing todo with the display driver.. Any help would be much appreciated just discovered the graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 AGP 4x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
