River1 Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 What updates can be installed, without borking your machine, and by the same token, what can be installed safely to your Hackintosh? I installed iPhoto, iMovie, and Quicktime. My WiFi won't work right, unless the signal from the AP is without WEP, which is not good in my area. Now I see an update for the Airport and 3rd party routers, but I'm afraid something is gonna bork up my laptop. Any suggestions or scenarios, I'm sure, will benfit everyone. Thanks in advance! Thanks in advance! use pacafist to see what files are going to be over wrote, back them up and then go ahead with the install, and it isn't true that no updates are safe to install.
