mavior
Hello,i've installed same days ago Leopard kalyway 10.5.1, and because realtek have just released a new driver version for my Wireless usb card(NetgearWg111v2) now I can also navigate the web!Surfing internet is quite smooth(I've used safari, firefox and camino) except from the fact that I cannot open this site http://www.hostingsolutions.it (and because this is a domains hosting service i can't navigate all the sites hosted on this company). The strange thing is that trying to navigate that site from Linux, the browser open it as expected!!!So, i guess that this is a Leopard related issue, and I really can't find a reason of why only this site is not working!!You can have a look of my traceroute log to hostingsolutions.it here http://pastebin.ca/925461.(here note the second line: for all the sites hosted by this company and for hostingsolutions.it itself the ip address in brackets is 67.215.66.132 that i don't know what is it-but it is expected to be the correct ip reversed from the domain name)My router is actually using opendns servers and i never had problems with them! Also under system preferences > network > under my ehternet connection details, the two opendns server ips are showed correctly (and in fact when i type www.hostingsolutions.it i am redirected to http://guide.opendns.com/?url=www.hostings...it&servfail default opendns server not find page).Do anybody successfully open this page ?Any hints or help to solve the problem? thank you in advance UPDATE: I've just tried to specify for my ethernet connection to use my ISP dns servers, and the site open up correctly. So the problem is related to opendns servers of my router, that site and leopard...under linux the site open up but it hangs up a while before....Really don't know..do you think i should report that to opendns ?Could somebody try to use http://www.opendns.com dns servers ip and report here the result ?? thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91393-i-cant-open-one-site-in-leopard/ Share on other sites

~pcwiz
Sorry mavior for my suspicions, This is not generally how the community is, but I'll try to help. My advice is to disable any firewalls you are using, they might be blocking it for some reason although why I don't get...Also try using a different web browser.
