10.5.2: Shutdown/Reboot not working

Hello,

 

i installed kalyway 10.5.1 on this computer:

 

Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

HD: 2x500GB AHCI

 

I updateted to 10.5.2, following this guide.

 

But now shutdown and reboot don't work anymore.

I only see "CPU halted" or "MACH Reboot" but nothing happens.

 

I already tried to boot with "cpus=1".

you also needed to backup and reinstall these kext files AppleACPIPlatform.kext, AppleSMBIOS.kext, AppleHDA.kext IOATAFamily.kext, IONetworkingFamily.kext, JMicronATA.kext. worked for me the second time i tried

Wow, thanks, Now NVInject works also :-)

I also had to install the poweroff fix, but now it works great.

Use Netkas 9.2.0 kernel[the one with no speedstep if you need Sleep]. It fixes shutdown and reboot.
